Five Students Awarded Chartwells Scholarships

The Bay Education Foundation and Chartwells School Dining Services is proud to announce the five winners in Chartwells  Bay County Scholarship Program.

Peyton Glendinning (J.R. Arnold High School), Victoria Welborn (Bay High School), Mikayla Monn (Deane Bozeman School), Alex Burgans (A. Crawford Mosley High School) and D’Jenalya Bowser (Rutherford High School) have been named Chartwells Scholars (photos attached). Each will receive a one-time $2,000 scholarship to attend college in the fall of 2014 to major in business or culinary arts.  

“We are very excited to offer this opportunity to local students, “said Julio Narvaez, Resident District Manager .  Narvaez went on to say that he was most impressed by the specific plans and goals that each of the winners outlined in their applications. 

Chartwells School Dining Services has been providing meal services for Bay County Public Schools since June 2012.  Above all else, Chartwells is committed to serving healthy, balanced meals to our students while creating a safe, welcoming environment in which to eat, relax and socialize. In addition to our primary goal, Chartwells also works to support students interested in furthering their education after high school.  Specifically, Chartwells helps those who aspire to work in the culinary and business fields.
