The Sherman Invitational is the oldest amateur golf tournament in the South. In it's 87 years, the tournament has seen several local winners, and several winners, who are now pros. Chase Seiffert is the two time defending Champ, but with his pro status, there would be a new winner this year.
Entering day two on competition, Matt Johnson and Rob Maddox shared the top spot, but Johnson stands alone at the top after shooting par on Saturday, as his two day total is 143. Maddox and Mike Riley are one stroke behind at 144.
