A Past Winner Captures 87th Sherman Invitational

The third and final day of the 87th Sherman Invitational wrapped up today at the Panama Country Club, and after back to back champ Chase Seiffert turned pro, there would be a new winner this year, but a winner who has won in the past.

Mike Riley, Matt Johnson, and Rob Maddox teeing off together, with Johnson sporting a one stroke lead over Riley and Maddox to start play today. Johnson would shoot a 75 for day three, for a three day total of 218, and Riley, also turned in a 218. Johnson would go on to win his third Sherman title after beating Riley on the second hold of a playoff.
