Animals in Need of Forever Homes

Posted: Updated:
Many animals looking for a forever home are one step closer to finding one.

Friday, at the Bay County Government Center, Bay County Animal Services along with the Panama City Womens Club brought out some dogs and cats looking for a loving home.

Bay County Animal Services holds pet adoptions at the Government Center once a month, on the first Friday of each month.

Dogs and cats are available for adoption at a fee of $25.00 and that includes voucher for spay or neuter, an AVID microchip, a CAPSTAR tablet or flea shampoo, and Strongid Wormer.

Bay County Public Information Officer Valerie Sale says Animal Services gets thousands of pets each year that need a place to go.

Our goal is to get these pets into a new home, said Sale. Every body needs a pet and nobody loves you like a shelter pet and so these dogs and cats make wonderful companions and we just really want them to find new homes, new loving homes.

If you would like to adopt a pet you can contact Bay County Animal Services at 767-3333.
