Construction moves along for the new North BayHavenCharterAcademy.
Representative Steve Southerland spent the afternoon walking through the west-half of the brand new facility.
The school is almost complete and Southerland got a first-hand look at the beautiful campus and the vision for the future of the 36 acres it lies on.
Bay Haven was just named the number one charter school in Florida and Southerland says the school is doing great things in the community.
“Well it’s impressive,” said Southerland. “Beautiful facility that is going to house a lot of young people, educating people, and getting them ready for the future, so I think it’s exciting and I applaud the efforts here.”
More than 1,000 students in grades 6-12 will start school at the brand new facility on August 28th.
