Swim Advisories Remain in Effect for Two Areas

Posted: Updated:
The Florida Department of Health in Bay County has conducted additional sampling of the following Healthy Beaches locations due to high levels of enteric bacteria: Panama City Beach City Pier (SP 3), Spy Glass Drive (SP 7), Delwood Beach (SP 8), Carl Gray Park (SP 9), Beach Drive (SP 10), and Dupont Bridge (SP 11).

The bacteria levels at the Panama City Beach City Pier (SP 3) and Carl Gray Park (SP 9) are still elevated. The swimming advisories for those locations remain in effect.

The bacteria levels are satisfactory and the swimming advisories for Spy Glass Drive (SP 7), Delwood Beach (SP 8), Beach Drive (SP 10), and Dupont Bridge (SP 11) have been rescinded.
