Two people are behind bars after attempting to bring contraband onto the GEO prison property in Graceville.
Deputies from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office responded to the prison on Ezell road after receiving information that a van would attempt to deliver illegal goods to the facility. Authorities spotted the vehicle driving along the perimeter fence and a white female running away from the southeast corner of the property. That suspect, identified as Stacy Jannuzzi, was later picked up by the same van near Graceville.
After conducting a traffic stop authorities learned the driver of the van, Teshack Alono King, was knowingly driving on a suspended license.
After their investigation two packages were discovered near the fence of the prison containing four cell phones wrapped in electrical tape.
Both suspects were charged and taking to the Jackson County Jail.
