Economic growth in BayCounty comes from many different aspects of the community and on Wednesday, the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce brought them all together.
An hour long discussion brought many ideas to the table. A panel of five BayCounty executives spoke today to a room full of other BayCounty business leaders. The special guests each spoke for ten minutes about what their business adventure adds to the county community and were able to answer any and all questions from the audience.
The guests cover different aspects of the community. Guest Speakers include:
Wayne Stubbs, Port of Panama City Collaboration was a common theme among all of the discussions. They were discussing ways to work with other business leaders, to create a better business and an overall more dynamic community.
The Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce hosted the event, but all of the businesses in attendance got new ideas to bring back to their company. “We are in the business of tourism and we want a solid BayCounty for that reason,” said Lance Allison, President and CEO of the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce. “We want people to come down here and use our resources, but we also have members that are local and live here and they are doing business with each other. We need a successful Panama City and a successful BayCounty, because everybody can’t just stay on the beach all the time anyway, we want to have a growth opportunity for everyone.”
