Narrated by Host Grant Palermo, Highlight Video Provides Overview, While Full Feature Allows Audiences to View Entire Event

NEW YORK, June 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The inaugural session of the Speakers' Series at the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate of the NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies featuring Daniel Glaser and Samuel Schneider, co-founders and managing partners of Imperium Capital, is now available to view online in its entirety. Imperium Capital is one of the premier real estate investment and development companies in New York City specializing in the acquisition of commercial, retail and multi-family properties.

The highlight video, narrated by graduate student Grant Palermo, provides an overview of the purpose of the series and this session as well an introduction to the two speakers.

"All meaningful conversations tend to be dialogues not monologues, so the way this is going to be structured is Dan and Sam are going to introduce themselves and talk about Imperium a little bit then I have some discussion questions that I will ask them," Palermo stated as he kicked off the event.

Glaser and Schneider then delved into an engaging discussion – starting from how they met and why they decided to start their firm. In the end of 2009, they felt the market was right and getting better and geared up for the launch of their company.

When asked about key lessons they had learned during their careers, both speakers offered their unique perspectives.

"I think relationships are extremely important," said Glaser. "People want to do business with people they like." Glaser continued on the importance of forming long-term relationships.

"Really focusing on your top skillset," said Schneider. "For us, it happened to be acquisition and sourcing."

The two also discussed the importance of organization, being as knowledgeable about what you are working on, being passionate about real estate and being mentally tough to succeed in the industry.

"The audience was truly engaged and gained valuable insight from both Sam and Dan about their careers and I am thrilled we can now share the video of the event with a broader audience," stated Palermo.

Each session of the series brings notable real estate professionals to NYU's campus to discuss personal stories and their perspectives on real estate with a diverse student audience. The next event will take place on July 14.
